School closed for staff professional development on December 20-21; holiday break December 24 - January 4. Staff work day January 7 - no school for students. Students finish December 19 and return January 8.

Join us for our annual Spring Open House, offering a great introduction to the culture and community of Spruce Tree, meet and greet our staff and current parents, and enjoy a walking, open tour of our beautiful learning environment.

Professional development for all staff; some will be on site in Fairbanks, others are attending the annual, national American Montessori Society conference in Washington DC. We'd like to thank our parent community for their support of our professional development.

Students and volunteer parents will clean up our outdoor environment, from trash collection from the parking lot and surrounding neighborhood, to our own playground.

We invite moms and/or grand-moms to join us for freshly baked muffins and coffee from 8 - 8:30 am and a presentation for our guests (children will begin their school day at 8:30) from 8:30 - 9 am.
